On Friday, March 7, 2025, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 4, Huntington, New York (AOH) will again host their annual Grand Marshal’s Ball honoring the 2025 Grand Marshal, New York State Assemblyman Keith P. Brown.
Every March, the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) gathers to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a parade through Huntington Village. This parade is Long Island’s oldest St. Patrick’s Day celebration, running for over 90 years. Each year, the AOH selects a respected member of the community to represent the Division and the Town of Huntington as the Grand Marshal of the parade. We celebrate this honor at the annual Grand Marshal’s Ball.
Past Grand Marshals have included some of the region’s most esteemed individuals, ranging from politicians to local business owners and clergy. Grand Marshals have the unique privilege of leading the parade procession through Huntington Village. Assemblyman Brown and the AOH look forward to gathering with friends and fellow community members to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and our Irish heritage on parade day, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Huntington Village.
In addition to the Assemblyman’s recognition, Ball attendees will enjoy a performance by Long Island’s prestigious Petri Dancers from the Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing and live music.
