THE COLLEEN SCHOLARSHIP

AOH Division 4 President presenting the Colleen Scholarship
Division 4 President, 2025 Grand Marshal and other award winners presenting the 2025 Colleen Scholarship award.

The grant of a Colleen scholarship is based on academic progress and personal characteristics that emulate the motto of our organization: Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity. This annual award is presented by the Ancient Order of Hibernians to the daughter or granddaughter of a Division 4 member in good standing who is a high school senior looking to attain higher education.

Applicants will be ranked on the following areas: content of letter, extracurricular clubs, extracurricular sports, community/Division efforts and paid and/or volunteer work experiences. Applicants must also be the daughter of Division member in good standing who has three (3) or more consecutive years of membership.

Note: The application window for the 2026 Scholarship Award has now closed. We would like to thank all the students who submitted their applications this year. If you are an AOH member in good standing and have a daughter or granddaughter who will be entering her senior year in the fall of 2026, she will be eligible to apply for the 2027 scholarship. We encourage you to check back on this page later this year for updated application forms and instructions.
