The Ancient Order of Hibernians 2026 Grand Marshal's Ball

HELD: FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026 AT 6:00PM

OHEKA CASTLE, 135 WEST GATE DRIVE, HUNTINGTON NEW YORK 11743

HONORING 2026 GRAND MARSHAL:
HUNTINGTON TOWN SUPERVISOR, EDMUND J. "ED" SMYTH

The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 4, was deeply honored to recognize our 2026 Grand Marshal, Huntington Town Supervisor Edmund J. “Ed” Smyth. This prestigious distinction is awarded to an individual whose commitment to our town and the Irish-American community embodies our core values of Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity. We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who joined us at the Grand Marshal’s Ball—a true cornerstone of the Huntington social calendar—for a spectacular evening of celebration, fellowship, and rich Irish tradition as we paid tribute to Supervisor Smyth’s steadfast leadership and dedicated service.

As the premier event of the season, the Grand Marshal's Ball officially kicked off the St. Patrick's Day festivities in Huntington. It served as a vital gathering to honor a distinguished community pillar and celebrate our collective cultural heritage. The funds raised during this magnificent gala were essential in sustaining Long Island's oldest and largest St. Patrick's Day Parade that followed just two days later. Your participation and generosity ensure that this cherished 92-year tradition will continue to march through our streets, inspiring pride in our ancestry and our community for generations to come.
